Your journey begins with a flight from Johannesburg to Victoria Falls. Upon arrival, enjoy some time to settle in before heading out for a magical sunset cruise along the Zambezi River. Return to Victoria Falls in the evening.
Depart Victoria Falls and travel to Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe’s largest wildlife reserve. Embark on an afternoon game drive in search of elephants, lions, buffalo, and painted dogs. Spend the night at a lodge near the park and enjoy the authentic wilderness atmosphere.
Enjoy a sunrise safari in Hwange National Park. With over 100 mammal species and abundant birdlife, this is one of Africa’s top safari destinations. After a picnic lunch in the bush, continue your game drive through the park before returning to Victoria Falls for a relaxed boma dinner and drum show evening.
Fly back to Johannesburg and connect to Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha), the starting point of your Garden Route adventure. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and rest after a day of travel.
Today, set out on a full-day safari in Addo Elephant National Park, home to more than 600 elephants and the unique Big 7 (including whales and sharks along the coast). Explore the park’s diverse habitats in a closed safari vehicle and spot elephants, lions, zebras, and more.
Head west to the lush forests of Tsitsikamma National Park. Stroll across the famous suspension bridge at Storms River Mouth, surrounded by dramatic coastal scenery. Later, visit Birds of Eden, the world’s largest free-flight aviary, and Monkeyland Sanctuary, home to rescued primates
Start the morning with a scenic lagoon cruise in Knysna, sailing toward the iconic Knysna Heads. Continue inland over the Outeniqua Mountains to Oudtshoorn. Visit the Cango Caves, with their spectacular stalactites and stalagmites, and experience an ostrich farm tour where you’ll learn about these fascinating birds.
Travel to the coastal town of Mossel Bay. The day is yours to relax or choose from a variety of activities such as shark cage diving, hiking, or simply enjoying the beaches. Overnight in Mossel Bay.
Journey westward along the coast to Cape Agulhas, the southernmost tip of Africa where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet.
