After collection from your accommodation in Cape Town, travel along the Atlantic coastline through Camps Bay and Hout Bay before joining Chapman’s Peak Drive, a coastal route carved into the mountainside overlooking the ocean.
Continue south through the Cape Peninsula to Cape Point Nature Reserve. Here, rugged cliffs, indigenous fynbos vegetation, and roaming wildlife create one of the most distinctive landscapes in South Africa. Visit the Cape Point Lighthouse and the famous Cape of Good Hope, the south-western tip of the African continent.
After time to explore the reserve, continue to Simon’s Town, home to South Africa’s naval base and historic waterfront. The day concludes at Boulders Beach, where a protected colony of African Penguins can be viewed from elevated boardwalks.
